This pilot study is being conducted to develop methodologies that could be used to quantify and analyze variations in the use of verbal and telephone orders within University Hospital. This is an ongoing project. CHCQ is working with ITS to identify and analyze verbal and telephone order utilization. An initial report was presented Spring 2008 to MU Health Care Quality and Safety Management Committee. Additional work continues.
