Rebekah Allen
Graduate Student, Health Management and Informatics

As a military child, Rebekah has lived in several states, the most recent of which was Kentucky, where she received her BA in English from the University of Kentucky In addition to her graduate work in the MHA program, Rebekah plans to apply to the University of Missouri's School of Law so that she can complete a joint MHA/JD degree. In her spare time, she enjoys sightseeing, rereading her dog-eared copy of The Complete Sherlock Holmes, and cooking, with the fire extinguisher close at hand.
Eric Franks
Graduate Student, Health Management and Informatics

Eric is originally from Foristell, MO. He received his BS in Finance and Banking from Mizzou in 2006 and spent the past three years working as a financial representative and broker in Columbia, Missouri and Atlanta, Georgia. Eric's financial background laid the track for his interest in healthcare financing and quality assurance. He is now pursuing his masters in health administration with interests in patient safety and quality improvement. He is a devoted Tiger fan and enjoys spending time watching MU football and playing golf.
Jonathan Goebel
Graduate Student, Health Management and Informatics

Jonathan is originally from Dallas, Texas. He received a B.S. in Health Science from the University of Arkansas. Professionally, he is interested in hospital operations, quality improvement, and patient safety. Away from school and work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, catching up on sports, and playing golf.
Rajitha Gopidi
PhD Student, Health Management and Informatics

Rajitha is originally from India. She received an MBBS degree from Osmania Medical College and an MHSA from Florida International University prior to her academic adventure (working on PhD in Health Informatics) at University of Missouri. Her research interests are clinical decision support systems and electronic medical records. Rajitha likes to spend her spare time cooking, embroidering, reading and shopping.
Pallavi Panhalkar
Graduate Student, Health Management and Informatics

Pallavi is currently in her final year of Health Administration and Health Informatics dual degree course. She completed her Bachelor's degree in dentistry from Mumbai, India. Her healthcare interests include quality improvement, health information technology, and operations. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, travelling, and reading.
James Richardson
Graduate Student, Health Management and Informatics

James was born in Colorado but moved around with his career military father. He graduated from Missouri Valley College in 2003 with a dual degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration. He is currently a candidate for a Masters of Science in Health Informatics with a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Change from the Truman School of Public Affairs. His interests focus on information architecture and how those principles can be applied to the process of communicating between stakeholders. In his spare time he likes to cook, play his xbox 360 (DDR!), and spending time with his fiancée.
Stephanie Scrivner
Graduate Student, Public Health

Stephanie received a BS in Biology from MU and decided to continue her education in the MPH program, emphasis in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. Currently, Stephanie also works as a research assistant at the Harry S. Truman VA Medical Center in Columbia, MO and is a graduate student intern with the Department of Epidemiology in the Department of Health and Senior Services. While growing up, her family moved often, due to her father serving in the military. They lived in many locations in the United States as well as abroad in Costa Rica and South Korea. Her interests include religion, microbiology, martial arts, playing the flute, and traveling.
Leevon Sperry
Graduate Student, Health Management and Informatics

Leevon is from the town of Princeton, Missouri. He received his BS in Economics from the University of Missouri. With regards to his graduate program, he is interested in expanding his particular skill set in the realm of Health Management, while at the same time expanding his horizons in such a manner as to fully implement a process of divergent thinking. In his spare time he enjoys chess, golfing, and watching television.
